There isn’t always a new direction to go.

It’s easy to feel stuck. There doesn’t have to be a new direction to go at all points in time. You can sit and improve what you’ve made in the past. You can enjoy life in the moment. There generally will be another path to take at a future point in time.

Some times you may feel like you need a new direction include but aren’t limited to:

  • Writer’s block
  • Career satisfaction
  • Personal growth
  • Art

There are many more that can be added.

The point is sometimes a stay of “cleaning house” or “keeping things tidy” for a while until the next opportunity appears is the way to go about things.

Keep your head up. Keep your life on course and keep your eyes on the horizon for when a new opportunity presents itself, but you don’t always have to be actively searching for it.
