The link above is a great piece of insight. It’s worth reminding people that just because you aren’t incorporated doesn’t mean you’re not a business. Every employee is a business with one customer, their employer. That’s why employees do things the way they are told, they don’t have any redundancy.
It’s not a bad thing necessarily, but you need to see it, understand it, and question it if it isn’t working for you.
This is that reminder. It’s also a reminder that investing in yourself always will have the best returns.
