Measuring your impact by dollars. That seems to be the way that billionaires do it. They don’t see “impact” as a separate axis. They align it with money.
My take is this isn’t correct. Sure, to make a billion dollars there is a correlation with impact. You can’t have no impact on the world and make a billion dollars. They aren’t direct and linearly proportional though.
Martin Luther King Jr. made a bigger positive impact than most billionaires, but he wasn’t as rich as them. Gandhi made an impact bigger than most millionaires, but he supposedly had a net worth of $1,000.
Choose the axes to judge your life by carefully, and understand, most categories are separate, though a few may be weakly linked.
